Apollo Home Healthcare is looking for dedicated Healthcare Assistants to provide personalized care and support to a young boy in Burnley. The ideal candidates will be passionate about improving the lives of others and experienced in caring for children. Responsibilities include establishing and managing the child's bedtime routine, overseeing his care needs, and creating a calming environment to support restful sleep. The role requires working independently in the service user's home, offering personal, social, and domestic support while adhering to individual care plans. Flexibility is needed for part-time night shifts, with pay rates ranging from £13.50 to £15.50 per hour. By working with us as a Healthcare Assistant, youll be a valued member of a compassionate team dedicated to caring for a little boy in Burnley.

Our service user is a happy young boy who loves cuddles and enjoys playtime. He is always smiling and is a little night owl who just loves to play, enjoys watching CBeebies, and listening to music. He tends to settle late at night and often needs cuddles to help him fall asleep.

Your role? To help establish and carry out his bedtime routine, ensuring his comfort and help create a calming environment to support a restful nights sleep. In addition, you will oversee his care needs and manage his clinical interventions as required.

We are specifically seeking candidates who are experienced in providing care to children.

Pay Rates:

£13.50 - £15.50 per hour
Approx. £135 - £155 (per 10-hour night shift)

10pm 8am & 9pm 7am

About us
The role of a Healthcare Assistant (HCA) is to work without direct supervision in the home of the service user providing care and support including personal, social, and domestic support whilst adhering to the service users individual care and support plan.
The aim of the position is to enable service users to remain safely in their own home with as much independence as possible.
Alongside providing care and support in a professional, discreet, and caring manner, always ensuring the service users right to privacy and dignity is maintained
