The Shrewsbury and Telford Hospital NHS Trust is seeking two Senior Catering Assistants for permanent 20-hour positions at The Princess Royal Hospital in Telford. The role involves working as part of a food service team to deliver efficient catering services for both patients and commercial clients. Key responsibilities include serving meals at the ward level, assisting with food preparation and cleaning in the main kitchen, and maintaining hygiene and safety standards in compliance with Food Safety and Health & Safety legislation. Additional duties entail general cleaning, proper stock management in line with HACCP principles, and completing necessary food safety documentation.
