The Sandwell and West Birmingham NHS Trust is seeking a Patient Access Data Validation Clerk experienced in the validation of waiting lists, specifically related to the 18-week wait and RTT pathways. The successful candidate will join the Patient Access Team and collaborate with clinical groups and booking teams to ensure the accuracy and readiness of waiting lists for both weekly and monthly reporting. A fundamental requirement is a background in NHS operations concerning waiting lists, along with knowledge of RTT/18-week pathways, although training will be provided.

The role is preferably full-time at 37.5 hours per week, with the potential for occasional remote work once the employee's capabilities are validated by the team manager. The position emphasises effective communication and coordination among various teams to ensure that patients are accurately prepared for their appointments in chronological order.
