South Durham Health CIC is seeking a General Practitioner to join their multi-disciplinary team in Stockton-on-Tees, offering 6-8 sessions per week. The role involves performing a wide range of clinical duties, including surgery, telephone and video consultations, home visits, and managing patient investigations while maintaining accurate patient records using SystmOne. The GP will work collaboratively with various healthcare professionals and contribute to ensuring high-quality, integrated care within the community, focusing on patient-centered treatment and health promotion.

The position emphasises ongoing professional development and training, with opportunities for regular supervision and reflection with other GPs. The successful candidate will need to be proactive in prescribing medication, managing referrals, and participating in extended hours if required. The GP will be expected to uphold confidentiality, adhere to health and safety protocols, and support equality and diversity within the practice, ensuring that all patients receive respectful and dignified care.
