The General Practice Nurse Educator role at Surrey Heath Community Providers Ltd in Camberley focuses on enhancing clinical practice standards in General Practice by providing structured support to student nursing associates and other learners. The role aims to promote General Practice as a desirable nursing environment, facilitate the development of a supportive community among nursing associates and registered nurses, and reduce feelings of isolation in their roles.

Candidates must be Registered Nurses with experience in General Practice and a background in clinical education or pre-registration nurse education. Responsibilities include raising awareness of the Nursing Associate role, conducting clinical teaching and assessments, facilitating external placements, and developing resources to support career pathways for non-registered staff. The educator will also assist registered nurses and nursing associates in transitioning smoothly into General Practice.
