As an Associate Finance Business Partner, you will be part of a team working under the Finance Directorate, supporting the Community Care Group in various accounting and financial tasks. Working with the Finance Business Partner, your key responsibilities will include:

Managing the monthly closedown process with the Community Care Group and then forecasting the outturn position.

Providing timely, high quality financial information to operational and clinical staff.

Communicating with senior leaders, providing expert advice, guidance and challenge on financial matters.

Supporting the business planning process which includes business case development and developing saving plans.

Completing internal and national reporting requirements.

Line management responsibilities for other Business Partnering staff within the Community Care Group team.

Your role will also involve attending relevant Community Care Group Committees and Sub Committees, which includes answering any detailed questions on financial performance as required.

As a qualified accountant or with equivalent experience, the successful candidate will possess excellent communication and analytical skills, and be adept at handling multiple responsibilities and deadlines.

Location:
You will be based at either Newcourt House in Exeter or Devonshire House in Barnstaple (whichever you prefer) but may be required to travel between sites as needed. We work in a hybrid office environment with a minimum of two days in the office.
