The role of Respiratory Physiologist at Oxford University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust is primarily focused on Respiratory Lung Function, with opportunities to gain experience in Sleep and Ventilation medicine. This Band 6 position is mainly based at the Churchill Hospital in Oxford, with plans to extend services to Horton Hospital in Banbury and John Radcliffe Hospitals.

The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting various respiratory tests, ensuring high standards of patient care, and contributing to the growth of the department. This includes performing tests with minimal supervision, obtaining accurate results, and meeting specific trial protocols. The role also involves supervising junior staff, participating in research projects in collaboration with the university and the Oxford Respiratory Trials Unit, and becoming an ARTP Practitioner (Level III).

Training will include a wide range of respiratory investigations and the candidate should demonstrate care and respect towards patients and colleagues.
