The Community Occupational Therapist role at Northumberland County Council in Hexham is a full-time, fixed-term position for 12 months, offering an opportunity for both newly qualified and experienced therapists to make a significant impact on the lives of local residents. The role involves working with a diverse range of clients facing various health and social care needs, from assessing equipment needs to providing adaptations and support for those with physical, mental health, or learning disabilities. The position, with a salary range of £34,314 - £37,938 (NCC Band 7), promotes professional growth through involvement in community work and collaboration within a multidisciplinary team.

Based at Dene Park House, the therapist will have access to agile working options and will engage closely with other adult social care services and local Primary Care Networks to enhance service delivery. This role is suited for individuals who thrive in a dynamic environment and are eager to develop their Occupational Therapy skills while contributing to a high-quality, responsive service for the residents of Northumberland.
