The South Western Ambulance Service NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a Nurse/Parmedic Practitioner for their Tiverton location, with positions available at Band 6 and Band 7 levels. Qualified candidates must be registered nurses or paramedics with higher education in patient assessment, minor injuries, and minor illnesses. The role involves assessing, treating, and discharging patients with urgent or primary care needs, as well as handling emergency cases when necessary. Band 7 applicants must possess a prescribing qualification.

In addition to patient care, the post holder may take charge of the Urgent Treatment Centre in the absence of the operations manager and will oversee staffing issues, manage general enquiries, and support junior staff. The role also includes liaising with other healthcare professionals for referrals and providing support to ambulance crews. A supportive clinical and administrative team will be available, with training and medical indemnity provided by SWASFT. The position is dynamic and may evolve as the organisation's needs change.
