Horizon Healthcare are looking for a Health Care Assistant who has an approachable manner and is able to work within our friendly team. You will be integral in maintaining the functioning of the practice and be able to work under pressure.
Up to 37.5 hours per week, part time considered. A minimum of one late shift (10:30 18:30) would be required.

Working under the direct supervision of the Practice Nurses and strictly in accordance with specific practice guidelines and protocols, the Health Care Assistant will assist the practice clinical team in the provision and delivery of prescribed programmes of patient care. To be able to work at the main and branch surgery sites.

CHD reviews
Fitting and removing of 24 hour BP monitor
Assisting minor surgery / coil fits / implants
Re-stocking of consulting rooms, storage cupboards, etc.
Stock taking
Stock ordering
Vaccine / cold chain storage monitoring and recording
Maintain, clean and check function of appropriate equipment used within the surgery
Long term condition reviews
