The South West Yorkshire Partnership NHS Trust is seeking a Band 5 Occupational Therapist for a rotational position across Calderdale, Kirklees, and Wakefield, offering a dynamic opportunity for individuals exploring various mental health fields. The role involves six-month rotations through diverse clinical settings, including adult inpatient services, forensic services, community teams, and older people's services. The position emphasises holistic assessment and treatment, client-centered care, and collaboration with service users and their families. Successful candidates will receive supervision, support from experienced occupational therapists, and extensive learning opportunities throughout their rotations.

The Occupational Therapist will play a vital role within a multi-disciplinary team, focusing on enabling service users to engage in community-based activities while promoting the benefits of occupational therapy. Applicants must possess strong verbal and written communication skills and adopt a sensitive, empathic approach in their practice, tailored to the unique backgrounds and needs of clients.
