The Healthy Lifestyle Practitioner (HLP) position with Compass in Rugby is focused on enhancing the health and wellbeing of children, young people, and their families in Warwickshire. The successful candidate will join the Connect for Health school nursing service, contributing to the Healthy Child Programme by developing, delivering, and evaluating age-appropriate public health interventions in various community venues and schools. Responsibilities include participation in the National Child Measurement Programme, assisting with health questionnaires, and utilizing behavior change techniques in health promotion activities.

Candidates should possess strong communication skills, experience working with children and families, and a commitment to addressing health inequalities. While experience with children with special educational needs is a bonus, it is not required. The role involves both independent work and collaboration within a supportive team, with a focus on meeting the specific needs of young people and families across the county. A full driving license and access to transport are essential, as the role requires travel across Warwickshire.
