The "Lead for Urgent Care" role at NHS Bath and North East Somerset, Swindon and Wiltshire ICB in Chippenham requires a senior manager to lead and coordinate the urgent and emergency care work plan. Key responsibilities include supporting performance improvements related to urgent care targets, overseeing Integrated Urgent Care and Ambulance service contracts, and collaborating with localities and various stakeholders. The post holder will manage reporting on Emergency Department and ambulance response targets, contribute to the Urgent Care & Flow Delivery Group, and assist in developing the system's Seasonal Plan. Additionally, they will engage in demand and capacity modeling, represent the ICB in relevant meetings, and oversee transformation plans to reduce ambulance demand. The role also involves addressing urgent care information requests and supporting governance processes.
