Band 7: £51,883 to £58,544 a year per annum inc  PERMANENT  GOOD SALARY 

An exciting opportunity has arisen at Newham University Hospital for a Band 7 Physiotherapist to join our team. The role is based at Newham Hospital, where the post holder will work across the critical care unit and respiratory wards.

The post holder will work within the growing therapy team which includes a head of therapies, supportive clinical leads, a band 8a respiratory clinical specialist and a team of physiotherapists, occupational therapists and rehabilitation support workers.

You will manage a varied caseload of acute respiratory patients including those ventilated, on NIV, on Optiflow and with tracheostomies. You will lead the early rehabilitation of critically unwell patients in ICU and assess and treat respiratory patients on the wards.

You will have responsibility to support the development of ward-based MDT skills of acute respiratory management, Optiflow, NIV, tracheostomy management and support with the new Intensive care step down service.
