An exciting opportunity has arisen for a senior Administration Assistant to join our adult Mental Health Inpatient Unit at Newbridges.

Candidates must be organised and be able to work to tight deadlines, whilst maintaining accuracy and attention to detail, excellent communication skills and a friendly, approachable nature are essential for this role.

The successful candidate will provide administration and secretarial support to the clinical staff on the ward.

  • To provide administrative/secretarial support to clinical team.
  • To be the first point of contact for families and professionals
  • To take and record information in relation to referrals and process these following Trust and service procedures
  • To participate in team meetings and take minutes
  • To actively support the ward with tasks
  • To maintain the wards petty cash float
  • To order stores via the Oracle system

  • To answer the telephone and respond to queries appropriately.
  • To record meetings and outcomes
  • To ensure that visitors to the unit are welcomed and conducted through the unit providing visitors with a positive experience of the unit.
  • To work collaboratively with the clinical leads
