Warwick Endoscopy Unit are committed to delivering a high quality patient focused service, is a well-equipped and modern department which specializes in a wide range of diagnostic and therapeutic procedures. We also undertake bowel cancer screening as part of the National Screening Programme.
An opportunity has arisen for a dynamic individual willing to learn some highly skilled endoscopy techniques and actively assist in providing quality care for patient undergoing endoscopic procedures.

In addition, the Endoscopy team consists of a supportive multidisciplinary team and we encourage all our staff to develop their clinical, managerial and leadership skills in a positive learning environment. To deliver a high standard of nursing care to patients undergoing endoscopic procedures. The post holders will be responsible for the assessment of patient care needs, and implementation and evaluation of the programme of the care. The post holders are required to work as part of a team committed to delivering and improving a high standard of nursing care within South Warwickshire NHS Foundation Trust.
Clinical
Take clinical responsibility for patients within your allocated area of work.
Continuously assess, plan, implement and evaluate treatment, using appropriate programmes/methods of care.
To ensure a high delivery of quality care in accordance with Trust policies, procedures and guidelines. Participating in activities to improve the quality, productivity and effectiveness of care in response to local and national policies and initiatives.
To practice in accordance with the NMC Code of Professional conduct and scope of professional practice and maintain own NMC registration.
Communication
Showing empathy, understanding, and professionalism, when communicating with patients, their carers and families. Identifying individual needs and therefore utilising a range of agreed communication mediums.
Communicate effectively and professionally with colleagues and all levels of staff.
Maintain confidentiality at all times, as required by legislation and Trust policy.

Ensure records and documentation are maintained, kept confidential, and meets professional NMC guidelines, appropriate Trust standards, and in line with the Data Protection Act.
