This is a role for a Senior Care Assistant at Amarna House Care Home, part of the Avery Healthcare group. The role involves providing high-quality personal care and support to the residents, as well as leading and supporting the care team. The successful candidate will have an NVQ 3 or equivalent in care for care homes and at least 2 years' experience in a similar care environment.
As a Senior Care Assistant, your focus will be to support and work alongside the Care team to deliver high standards of personal care, providing a safe, caring, innovative, open, supportive, and inclusive environment for residents, visitors and staff. Other responsibilities will include monitoring the wellbeing of each resident, being involved in the person-centred care planning process, supporting residents with their medication requirements, and undertaking staff supervisions and supporting staff with their development.

Your focus asaSeniorCare Assistant will be tosupport and work alongside the Care team todeliverhigh standardsof personal care, providing a safe, caring, innovative, open,supportive,andinclusive environmentfor residents,visitorsand staff.
Other responsibilitieswillinclude:
- Monitoringthe wellbeing of each resident, being aware of any changeimpactingon care and care plans, ensuring that new needs aremet,and written records are amended to reflect any variation.
- Beinginvolved in the person-centred care planning process, by implementing,monitoring,and undertaking monthly evaluations.
- Supporting residents with their medication requirements.
- Undertaking staff supervisions and supporting staff with their development where required.
- Actingas a key point for contact with residents, theirrelativesand visitors, as well as health and social care professionals involved in their wellbeing, ensuring that any reasonable requests are actedupon,and concerns or complaints are escalated.

Our ideal candidatemust:
