The York and Scarborough Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a Charity Assistant for the York & Scarborough Hospitals Charity. This role involves being the primary contact for charity inquiries, providing administrative and fundraising support, and ensuring excellent customer service for donors, supporters, and volunteers. Responsibilities include acknowledging donations, maintaining financial and supporter records in the CRM database, updating digital fundraising platforms, assisting with communications like newsletters, and attending meetings to take minutes.

The ideal candidate should have a positive attitude, strong teamwork skills, and the ability to communicate effectively with diverse audiences. While previous charity or fundraising experience is beneficial, it is not mandatory. The position is based in the Charity Office at York Hospital, with occasional travel to other sites and potential out-of-hours work for events.
