The Hampshire and Isle of Wight Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a full-time Mental Health Practitioner to join the New Forest Community Mental Health Team (East) at Anchor House, Totton. The role involves coordinating care for individuals with severe and enduring mental illness, developing intervention plans, and providing ongoing assessment and treatment. The practitioner will work collaboratively with service users to promote recovery and empowerment, while also supervising a small team within the wider community treatment framework.

Candidates should have substantial mental health experience and current knowledge of NHS practices, enabling them to tailor interventions and support to meet the complex needs of service users. The position demands flexibility, including participation in out-of-hours services, and a proactive approach towards the care and management of both service users and their families. The Trust encourages innovative practices and offers discussions around flexible working arrangements during the interview process.
