The University Hospitals of Derby and Burton NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a Flexible Catering Assistant to work at Sir Robert Peel Community Hospital in Tamworth and Samuel Johnson Hospital in Lichfield. The role involves supporting patient food services by preparing and delivering meals according to dietary requirements, managing food safety documentation, and ensuring proper stock rotation and temperature recording. The successful candidate will work closely with the Facilities Management team, receiving a comprehensive training package, and will be responsible for serving beverages and meals, updating dietary forms, and maintaining cleanliness in the kitchen area.

Candidates should have the ability to complete Food Safety and Allergen training, possess English proficiency at Level 2, and be available for shifts that include days, afternoons, and weekends. Responsibilities also include prioritizing patient choice in meal selection and reporting any issues to Facilities Supervisors.
