Due to the expansion of Brainkind's Award-Winning Brain Injury Linkworker (BIL) Service, we are delighted to advertise for a clinical psychologist to join our team. The BIL neurorehabilitation service is provided in seven prison and probation establishments across England and Wales and is currently expanding to work in the Northwest of England.
This is a remote working position with travel to services as required. The post holder will have clinical and research responsibilities, primarily supervising our linkworkers and supporting the wider team to develop the service. The role is supervised by the consultant clinical neuropsychologist and works closely with the BIL project manager to ensure the safe and effective delivery of the service. It is located in the Policy and Social Change Team within Brainkind, which is committed to making sure brain injury rehabilitation is accessible to all.For an insight into our service see: this link. MAIN PURPOSE:
To work as a key member of the Brain Injury Linkworker Service clinical team, providing clinical psychology and neuropsychological supervision to the brain injury linkworkers, who deliver neurorehabiltation to people in prison and on probation. You will also be involved in delivering brain injury awareness training to HMPPS staff and liaising with a range of different professionals. You will engage in relevant audit and research projects.
