The role of Lead Clinical Pharmacist - Oncology and Haematology at Mid and South Essex NHS Foundation Trust involves joining a dedicated clinical pharmacy team to support oncology and haematology patients at Broomfield University Hospital. The position requires an enthusiastic and motivated individual who can lead and develop a high-quality pharmacy service while ensuring compliance with Medicines Management Standards.
Key responsibilities include conducting audits, engaging in research and development, and providing clinical support to the pharmacy aseptic preparation unit. The successful candidate will be an integral member of the multi-disciplinary team, contributing to excellent patient care and participating in clinical governance initiatives within the Trust.

An exciting opportunity as a Lead Pharmacist has arisen for an enthusiastic and highly motivated individual to join the established clinical pharmacy team supporting oncology and haematology patients across Mid and South Essex.
You, based at the Broomfield University Hospital site, will be an integral member of the multi-disciplinary team, working to provide excellent care to oncology patients throughout the Trust.

- To lead and develop a high quality, comprehensive pharmacy service to oncology and haematology patients within Mid and South Essex
- To ensure Medicines Management Standards are met within Oncology and Haematology Service
- To regularly undertake audit projects and research and development with respect to national and local guidelines of practice
- To be actively involved in the clinical governance aspects of the pharmaceutical service
- To provide clinical support to the pharmacy aseptic preparation unit
