The Liverpool University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a Clinical Fellow in Adult Neurotology and Skull Base Surgery for a one-year position starting August 6, 2025, at the Aintree site. This fellowship targets candidates nearing the end of their higher surgical training in Otolaryngology, particularly those with FRCS ORL-HNS or equivalent qualifications, as well as those with at least ST6 training. The fellow will join the ENT Directorate, participate in a bi-weekly skull base multidisciplinary team (MDT), and have responsibilities that include on-call coverage (1:9) and assistance in organizing training courses in otology and temporal bone dissection.

The role emphasises training in lateral skull base and neuro-otological procedures, with potential exposure to anterior skull base surgeries. Candidates will be involved in research and audit projects, utilizing a wealth of clinical outcome data. They will play a significant role during MDT preparations and will engage with a state-of-the-art audiological service for comprehensive audio-vestibular investigations and rehabilitation.
