Omnes Healthcare Limited is seeking a Health Care Assistant to join their Community Dermatology Service in Blackburn and Central Lancashire. This position is suited for individuals who enjoy independent work while being part of a supportive team. Ideal candidates should have prior experience as a Healthcare Assistant in clinical settings and a strong desire to enhance patient comfort.
Key responsibilities include:
- Supporting dermatologists and nurses during face-to-face clinics and assisting in minor procedures.
- Conducting medical photography clinics, completing patient questionnaires, and taking specialized images.
- Maintaining clinic organization including stocking supplies and managing inventory.
- Inputting notes into electronic patient records.
The role offers 40 hours per week from Monday to Friday, with potential weekend shifts, and involves a varied schedule with clinic hours between 8 AM and 6 PM.

A fantastic opportunity to join our Community Dermatology Service as a Healthcare Assistant around the Blackburn and Central Lancashire area
This role is ideal for somebody who enjoys working independently, while being a part of a supportive and friendly team, working together to make a difference to how health services are delivered to patients.
An ideal candidate would have previous experience as Healthcare Assistant in a GP practice, hospital, or any other clinical setting with a passion for making the patient journey as comfortable as possible.
Following full training, you will be supporting our dermatologists and nurses in face-to-face clinics as well as assisting with minor procedures, you will also conduct your own medical photography clinics where you will complete questionnaires with patients and take some specialised images.
There are 40 hours per week available over Monday to Friday, however weekend work may sometimes be required. You will be working based on the rota with clinics starting as early as 8 am and finishing as late as 6pm.
- You will ensure the clinic is always fully stocked and tidy and assist with stock check and ordering supplies.
- You need to be able to enter notes into electronical patient records
- You would be a part of a friendly team who all strive to deliver excellent dermatology care to our patients.
