The role of "Bank B7 Early Years Speech and Language Therapist (SALT)" at Central London Community Health Trust involves providing specialized assessment and diagnostic services within Early Years Speech and Language Therapy and Child Development Service Teams. Responsibilities include evaluating children's language, communication, and interaction skills to diagnose Autism and related disorders, using standardized assessments. The therapist will create, implement, and assess tailored therapy programs for preschool children with speech and language delays and social communication challenges, while also offering support to parents and collaborating with other health and education professionals.

Additionally, the post holder will be responsible for producing comprehensive reports for families and various professionals, engaging in service delivery policy development, and leading specific projects or working groups as directed. This position requires a strong understanding of complex neuro-developmental conditions and the ability to adapt and develop care protocols to meet individual client needs effectively.
