The Pharmacy Department serves all wards and departments within Royal Surrey, including specialized services for the St Luke's cancer centre and paediatric unit, as well as external hospitals and clinics. Candidates should demonstrate strong teamwork, excellent communication abilities, and the capacity to perform well under pressure to thrive in this dynamic role.
We have an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic and highly motivated Pharmacy Assistant to join our well-established pharmacy team.
Ideally, you should have an NVQ Level 2 in Pharmacy Services or equivalent with significant hospital pharmacy experience.
If you are a good team player, with excellent communication skills and can work well under pressure, this is the job for you!
In this varied role, you will be helping to deliver a high quality pharmacy service to our patients by rotating through the following areas of the pharmacy department:- The inpatient dispensary- Stores and distribution services- Ward based medicines management services
