The Royal United Hospitals Bath NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a Senior Surgical Care Practitioner (SCP) or Advanced Clinical Practitioner (ACP) to enhance its gynaecological oncology team. This role is integral to ensuring timely access to high-quality assessments, investigations, and treatments for patients with gynaecological cancers. The successful candidate will participate in independent cancer clinics, assist in consultant-led surgeries, and perform essential tasks such as ward rounds and patient assessments. The position, requiring 37.5 hours per week, encompasses outpatient oncology, ward care, and theatre responsibilities, including the performance of Hyperthermic Intraperitoneal Chemotherapy (HIPEC) for advanced ovarian cancer, as well as leading on service development initiatives.

The role is adaptable to the level of training, with responsibilities varying between SCP and ACP, yet designed to maintain a high standard of patient care. The appointee will collaborate closely with existing team members and contribute to the overall success and performance of the gynaecological oncology service at RUH.
