Cwm Taf Morgannwg University Health Board is seeking Healthcare Support Workers to join the clinical team in a 28-bed general surgical ward in Llantrisant. The role involves working under the supervision of registered nurses to provide essential patient care, including monitoring vital signs. Strong written and communication skills are required to effectively interact with patients, their families, and the multidisciplinary team. While the ability to speak Welsh is desirable, both Welsh and English speakers are welcome to apply. Informal visits to the ward are encouraged for potential candidates.

An exciting opportunity has arisen for Healthcare Support Workers to work as part of the clinical team within the General Surgical environment. Joining the team on ward 8, which is a 28 bedded general surgical ward. The successful candidate will work under the direct supervision of the registered nurse and will be expected to undertake fundamental aspects of patient care including undertaking patient's vital signs.

The individual will be required to have good written and communication skills to be able to relate to patients, members of patients families and the multidisciplinary team that work within the clinical area.Informal visits are encouraged.

The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; Welsh and/or English speakers are equally welcome to apply.
