The North West Ambulance Service NHS Trust is seeking Call Handlers for their Integrated Contact Centre in Middlebrook, Bolton. This role, categorized as Band 3, offers a starting salary of £24,071, which can increase to £25,674 after two years, with potential earnings of around £30,000 per annum for those working unsocial hours. The ideal candidates should have experience in data input and customer service, demonstrate excellent telephone communication skills, and possess the resilience required to manage high-pressure situations. Call handlers will be responsible for answering diverse calls, assessing needs, providing reassurance, and delivering medical advice, all while maintaining composure amidst emotionally charged interactions.

Candidates must be able to work flexible shifts including weekends and holidays, and will undergo comprehensive full-time training for up to 10 weeks.
