The Royal Free London NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a Band 3 Pre-registration Trainee Pharmacy Technician (PTPT) to join their team in London. Applicants must hold at least three GCSEs at grade 4/C or above in English, Mathematics, and a Science subject, or possess equivalent functional skills qualifications. The successful candidate will engage in a two-year apprenticeship program leading to a Certificate of Higher Education in Pharmacy Technician Practice, which includes distance learning and in-house training.

The role involves rotation through various pharmacy areas and working under the supervision of qualified pharmacy staff to develop skills as a Pharmacy Support Worker. Candidates should be self-motivated, flexible, detail-oriented, and possess strong communication and IT skills. They must also be able to travel between the Trust's sites, as the role involves both on-the-job training and classroom learning. The position offers a competitive salary based on qualification status, with non-qualified trainees receiving Band 3 apprentice wages during their apprenticeship.
