The University Hospital of North Midlands NHS Trust is offering positions for newly qualified midwives through its supportive preceptorship programme in Stoke on Trent. This program spans 12 months and includes 9 weeks of supernumerary experience across three ward areas, providing comprehensive support in antenatal, intrapartum, and postnatal care. Each preceptorship participant will be paired with a dedicated preceptor, and a bespoke development package will be provided to facilitate progression from a Band 5 to a Band 6 midwife.

Candidates must possess a full and active NMC PIN number to apply, as international applications are only considered if this requirement is met. Positions are available for both full-time and part-time roles, supporting flexible working patterns, and newly qualified midwives will start at a midpoint on the Band 5 pay scale, which exceeds the entry-level salary by over £2,000.
