- To perform comprehensive assessment of patients nursing needs, plan, implement and evaluate care in the outpatients setting, utilising research as appropriate and supporting junior colleagues with this.

- To respond to and prioritise a wide range of demands and tasks in a rapidly changing environment, liaising with other members of the multidisciplinary team.

MCHFT's Main Outpatients department is renowned for its commitment to excellence.
We are looking for a dynamic and dedicated Band 5 RGN to be a valuable asset to our team. This role offers the chance to work alongside skilled professionals, providing exceptional care to our patients. Additionally, you will have the exciting opportunity to assist in minor operations and dermatology clinics alongside our clinicians predominantly on weekends. While previous dermatology knowledge and skills are desirable, they are not essential, as we believe in providing training and growth opportunities to our team members.
The successful candidate will be expected to primarily work in Main Outpatients Department Leighton Hospital, but would need to be able work at Victoria Infirmary if and when required.
Organising and co-ordinating outpatient clinics, assessing care needs and developing, implementing and evaluating programmes of care.
Working alongside other multidisciplinary teams.
Provide specialist information and support within the outpatient setting to both patients and nursing support staff.
