The "Clinical Fellow in Medicine for Older People Care" position at University Hospitals Bristol and Weston NHS Foundation Trust (UHBW) is aimed at doctors looking to enhance their skills in the field of geriatric medicine. This whole-time role, which is also open to part-time or job-share arrangements, will begin in December 2024 or January 2025.

Key responsibilities include:

- Inpatient care duties such as routine patient assessments, managing care, prescribing medications, and collaborating with medical and allied health professionals.
- Supervision by a Consultant Clinical Supervisor and adherence to a training curriculum, including appraisals.
- Opportunities to attend clinics, perform relevant procedures, and rotate between wards specializing in medicine for older adults.
