Band 4: £26,530 to £29,114 a year plus RRP of £3,500.00 per annum  PERMANENT  GOOD SALARY 

As a Maintenance Craftsperson (Mechanical), you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing a wide range of engineering plant and equipment within a modern NHS hospital environment.

This role offers a Recruitment and Retention Payment of £3,500 per annum.

As a Maintenance Craftsperson (Mechanical), you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing a wide range of engineering plant and equipment within a modern NHS hospital environment. This includes working on hot and cold water systems, emergency generators, heating, ventilation, and building management systems, alongside performing fault-finding and repairs.

  • Conduct complex and non-routine mechanical maintenance.
  • Maintain systems including heating, ventilation, water, pumps, compressors, and motors.
  • Perform basic electrical work as required.
  • Collaborate with maintenance colleagues, ward staff, and other departments.
  • Use and manage the Facilities Management system for job planning and reporting.
  • Participate in the on-call maintenance rota.
