HCPC HOLISTIC MULTI-DISCIPLINARY NHS PARAMEDIC WEEKEND
The East Sussex Healthcare NHS Trust is seeking an experienced and motivated Band 6 Urgent Community Response (UCR) Nurse/Paramedic for the Eastbourne/Hastings area. This role involves providing rapid assessments and interventions to patients in crisis within the community, aiming to prevent unnecessary hospital admissions. The UCR practitioner will work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team, delivering high-quality, patient-centered care and supporting the clinical management of patients with acute illnesses at home through the Virtual Wards service.

Key responsibilities include conducting rapid assessments, creating individualized care plans, stabilizing patients, and arranging appropriate treatments or referrals. The role also involves leading and supervising junior staff and contributing to the development of clinical protocols. The UCR team operates seven days a week, requiring flexibility in working hours, including weekends and bank holidays. Candidates should possess high-level clinical skills and experience in adult nursing or paramedicine.
