The Senior Staff Nurse position at Brainkind's Neurological Centre in York involves providing clinical leadership and ensuring high standards of neurorehabilitation care for patients recovering from acquired brain injuries, alongside various mental health and physical conditions. The role encompasses responsibilities such as leading daily operations, facilitating effective communication among interdisciplinary teams, promoting a learning culture among staff, and ensuring the safety and well-being of service users. The position also involves mentoring new staff, participating in recruitment, and maintaining compliance with care standards and safeguarding protocols.

Applicants should possess qualifications as a Registered Mental Health Nurse (RMHN), Learning Disability Nurse (LD), or Registered General Nurse (RGN), and demonstrate a passion for delivering personalized care and support in partnership with individuals facing complex health challenges. The role requires strong leadership skills, a commitment to quality care, and the ability to foster a collaborative team environment focused on innovative practices and service improvement. Full-time contracts consist of 38.5 hours per week, covering seven 12-hour shifts bi-weekly, with a salary range of £45,195 - £50,395 depending on experience.
