We are an autonomous team of registered nurses specialised in delivering training on a range of health conditions and clinical skills. For example epilepsy and seizure management, anaphylaxis, and tracheostomy cares. The training delivered is child specific, based on their individual health care plans. Our training sessions are designed to empower and up skill non health care staff; from a variety of settings such as social care, schools, or transport to safely and confidently meet the health needs of the children in their care.
As well as being a part of this supportive and experienced team, the successful candidate will complete a comprehensive orientation to prepare them for the role. We welcome and encourage informal visits from prospective candidates.

About usTo provide education and training to those who care for children with additional health needs within the community, including educational and residential settings, voluntary sector and families. To be the training specialist with the knowledge and skills to answer questions from other health and non- health professionals to support them in safely caring for the child or young person.
Ensure that all appropriate guidelines, child specific care plans, clinic letters and competencies are in place to ensure high quality training is provided in accordance with national and local guidance.
To work unsupervised, adhering to operational procedures and established practice and referring to the Childrens Training Team Lead and Service Manager for guidance when needed.
To maintain a professional and confidential approach to work at all times.
