The British Pregnancy Advisory Service (BPAS) is seeking an experienced Operating Department Practitioner (ODP) for a full-time role (37.5 hours per week) at their Richmond unit in Twickenham. This position offers a positive work-life balance with daytime shifts from Monday to Friday, focusing on providing reproductive healthcare services, including surgical procedures under conscious sedation and general anaesthetic. The ideal candidate will be a Registered Adult Nurse Level 1 or ODP with theatre and anaesthetic experience, passionate about supporting clients during vulnerable times.

In this role, the ODP will prepare the operating environment and anaesthetic equipment, assist the anaesthetist, and care for clients pre- and post-operatively. Responsibilities include maintaining accurate documentation, ensuring compliance with surgery checklists, and providing reassurance to clients. BPAS emphasises maintaining client dignity and confidentiality while fostering a supportive team environment.
