Ellern Mede Group is seeking a full-time Facilities Maintenance Assistant for their location in Barnet. In this role, the assistant will support building operations by responding to daily maintenance requests and performing preventive maintenance under the supervision of the Facilities Manager. Key responsibilities include general building maintenance and repairs, painting and decorating, testing fire alarm systems, and ensuring health and safety standards are met. The position also involves basic knowledge of electrical, plumbing, and carpentry work, as well as overseeing contractors for professional repairs.

The Facilities Maintenance Assistant will work a 40-hour week and may provide coverage for colleagues during absences. Additional duties may be assigned as needed. This is an essential role focused on maintaining a safe and functional environment for the facilities.
