The position of HODS Clinical Scientist at Liverpool University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust offers an exciting opportunity to join the Merseyside and Cheshire Haemato-Oncology laboratory at the Royal Liverpool Hospital. Responsibilities include providing clinical leadership, drafting and authorizing diagnostic reports, and delivering specialized molecular diagnostic tests for haematological malignancies. The successful candidate will also offer clinical and scientific advice to healthcare professionals and partake in research and development initiatives.

The ideal candidate will possess excellent organisational skills, attention to detail, and a passion for enhancing the quality of diagnostic services. They will work closely with the Senior Clinical Scientist, help manage laboratory procedures, and ensure effective communication with other staff members and laboratory users. The role also involves critical analysis of laboratory techniques and participation in quality assurance processes, contributing to the overall efficiency and responsiveness of the diagnostic service.
