The University Hospitals of Derby and Burton NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a Locum Consultant Haematologist to join their enthusiastic team in a full-time role (11 Programmed Activities). The successful candidate will work in a dedicated 18-bed haematology ward, providing specialized care, including induction treatment and therapies for high-grade lymphomas. The department also contains an Acute Unit for unwell patients and collaborates with regional transplant centers for advanced treatments. Candidates interested in contributing to the development of the haematology service, potentially establishing a new autologous transplant and cellular therapies program, are especially encouraged to apply.

While the role is based at the Royal Derby Hospital, flexibility for part-time work will be considered based on service needs. There may also be opportunities to work across both Royal Derby Hospital and Queen's Hospital Burton.
