The Oxford University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust is seeking enthusiastic Band 5 nurses to join their Newborn Care Unit at The John Radcliffe, a leading center for neonatal care in the Thames Valley. The unit offers comprehensive training opportunities aimed at advancing careers while providing exceptional care for extremely preterm and critically ill infants across various specialties. Nurses will work within a multi-disciplinary team, delivering evidence-based nursing care tailored to the individual needs of infants and their families, while ensuring effective communication, medication administration, and emergency response.

Candidates can have backgrounds in children's nursing, adult nursing, or midwifery, with critical care experience preferred but not essential. The role includes participation in clinical audits, training of new staff and students, and involvement in educational programs like the Neonatal Preceptorship. Successful applicants will be responsible for maintaining compliance with NMC guidelines and fostering collaborative relationships with families and colleagues to support high-quality neonatal care and facilitate smooth operations within the unit.
