FAMILY HCPC MENTAL HEALTH NHS NMC SOCIAL WORK
The Cheshire and Wirral Partnership NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a Mental Health Practitioner (MHP) for its developing Children and Young People's (CYP) Emergency and Urgent care provision in Chester or Wirral. This role is integral to the crisis response services as part of the NHS 5 Year Forward View, aimed at providing comprehensive mental health support to children and young people. The position involves conducting risk assessments, planning crisis interventions, and safeguarding young individuals while collaborating with families and external agencies. The service will eventually operate 24/7, with team members working 11.5-hour shifts and flexible working arrangements considered.

Candidates should possess professional registration with HCPC, Social Work England, or NMC, along with clinical knowledge of mental health assessment and management. Although prior experience in mental health care is desirable, applicants will receive ongoing training and support.
