CANCER HAEMATOLOGY NHS ROLE MODEL WEEKEND
The University Hospitals Coventry and Warwickshire NHS Trust is seeking a Specialist Pharmacist in Cancer Services to join their Oncology, Haematology, and Palliative Care team. This full-time role involves providing a clinical pharmacy service across inpatient wards, supporting adult and pediatric clinics, clinical trials, and chemotherapy management, and ensuring optimal medication use for oncology and haematology patients. The successful candidate will receive comprehensive training and development opportunities while contributing to service innovation and quality improvement initiatives.

Candidates should possess a postgraduate Certificate in Clinical Pharmacy (Hospital) or equivalent, along with strong communication, organisational, and interpersonal skills to work effectively both independently and as part of a team. Responsibilities will include checking prescriptions for safety, providing information to patients and staff, leading clinical audits, and participating in the education of fellow healthcare professionals. The position also requires flexibility in working hours, including potential weekend and bank holiday shifts.
