The Airedale NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a full-time Medical Laboratory Assistant in Clinical Chemistry (Band 2) at Airedale General Hospital. This role requires flexible working hours, including shifts between 8am and 8pm, with potential weekend duties to support the 24/7 laboratory service. While there are opportunities for personal development, applicants with Biomedical Science degrees should note that this position does not offer progression to a Biomedical Scientist grade. This role is not eligible for a certificate of sponsorship under current immigration guidelines.

As a Medical Laboratory Assistant, the primary responsibilities include handling telephone inquiries, locating samples, maintaining worklists, and performing general housekeeping tasks within the laboratory.
