The Essex Partnership University NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a Senior Family and Couples Therapist to join their Personality Disorder and Complex Needs (PD&CN) Team in Basildon. This role involves providing systemic family therapy to clients and their families, supporting transitions of care, and engaging with local care teams. The therapist will adopt a trauma-informed care approach and play a key role in developing educational sessions for carers, participating in client formulation sessions, and delivering direct family therapy. As a senior member of the team, the post holder will also support the management of service delivery while fostering collaboration among colleagues and stakeholders to enhance the overall treatment experience for clients with personality disorders.

The PD&CN Team consists of a multidisciplinary group dedicated to providing high-quality care for clients facing challenges related to personality disorders. This diverse team includes psychologists, psychotherapists, social workers, and assistant psychologists, actively collaborating with various local psychology and mental health services to improve treatment strategies.
