The Theatre Scrub Nurse role at Alder Hey Children's Hospital, part of NHS Professionals Limited, involves providing skilled clinical and technical assistance in the operating theatre. Responsibilities include conducting nursing assessments, delivering patient care, safely administering medications, and maintaining accurate records. The nurse will prepare and manage sterile equipment, assist surgeons during procedures, and ensure patient safety in high-pressure surgical environments. The position requires a minimum of six months’ experience as a Registered Nurse in theatres and registration with the NMC.
