There is a permanent, part-time Clerical assistant post available to support the OT team at Singleton Hospital. Working days will be Wednesday - Friday, working 18.75hrs
The role involves supporting the Clinical Lead OT, as well as helping to manage waiting lists, liaising with the public and streamlining current systems with the use of technology.
To be a member of the Occupational Therapy team supporting therapists in the delivery of an Occupational Therapy Service.* To provide an efficient clerical and word processing service skills to the Occupational Therapy service* To develop and maintain effective systems of work appropriate to the department, in line with Health Board Policies*To Manage the waiting lists using appropriate electronic systems for outpatients attending the department* To participate in CPD and develop skills and knowledge through participation supervision and other identified developmental activities.* To provide cover for other clerical staff within therapies to include general reception duties as delegated by Locality Lead.* To manage staff queries independently within appropriate guidelines (e.g. A/L, sickness, Payroll).
