We have an exciting new role within our High Support Accommodation and Community Rehabilitation services and are looking for a candidate who can ensure that we are able to provide a high quality housing and property management service to Second Step tenants. We aim to be service user centred and to give our tenants (who have a range of complex needs) the most positive and supportive tenancy experience possible. This is a challenging role with varied work streams and many interchanging deadlines, so we are looking for someone with good organisational skills and attention to detail. Equally we are looking for someone who displays initiative, is self-motivated and is a team player.
The job purpose is to provide a high quality housing management service to an agreed number of service users within the aims and objectives of the designated Second Step service.
Carry out role adhering to Second Steps policies, procedures and code of conduct, current legislation and with a recovery orientated approach. Provide a housing and property management service to our Supported Housing and High Support accommodation services, liaising with the relevant support team members tea as required. Ensure regular rent and service charge collection including housing benefit, in line with targets and maximization of organisational income. Understand and utilise relevant Psychological, Adversity and Trauma Informed practices in the delivery of client engagement, tenancy management, in training and in supervision.
