Sherwood Forest Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust is seeking enthusiastic and motivated individuals for the position of Trainee Biomedical Scientist in Sutton-in-Ashfield. This is a 12-month fixed-term contract within the Haematology and Blood Transfusion department at King's Mill Hospital, which has received an "Excellent" rating in a CQC inspection. Applicants must hold an HCPC-accredited Biomedical Sciences degree, as those without this qualification will not be considered. The role will include completing a registration portfolio and an external assessment during the training period, making candidates eligible to apply for HCPC registration upon completion.

While the trust provides valuable training and development opportunities, a substantive post cannot be guaranteed at the end of the 12 months; however, the experience gained will serve as a strong foundation for a future career in Biomedical Sciences.
